The first item of the long-anticipated Sideshow Collectibles Star Wars 12-inch line is none than the original hero of the original Trilogy - Luke Skywalker.
This Luke is the one we saw in Episode VI - a Jedi Knight, and no details are spared when it comes to clothing, accessories and the resemblance of the doll to Mark Hammil (I just wonder why the chosen Luke's face is the one when he's looking sad).
Luke comes in a full jedi black outfit (the jumpsuit seen in the final duel against Darth Vader), and the grey tunic (as seen in Jabba's Palace) and the Jedi hooded cloak are not missing either.
Luke comes with two Lightsabers - one of them ignited (the other one can be attached to the hook on Luke's belt), a femur bone (as seen in the Rancor scene) and a blaster (this one only for the exclusive Sideshow Collectibles version).
Another treat is the assortment of interchangeable hands - the figure itself comes with a Force wield left hand and a saber grip right hand. But the packaging also brings a gloved right hand, a blaster damaged right hand and a saber grip left hand - so all you have to do is chose your "favorite Episode VI Luke moment" and there you go!
And talking about the packaging - yes, you'll want to keep this one. Oh, did I mention that it also comes with a stand?
This is an ultimate collectible we're talking about here, the only flaw from Sideshow Collectibles is how to get them - you blink twice and they're sold out! Couldn't they make some more?
