1- What is it that you collect?
I collect action figures, comics, dolls, vehicles, playset, and all things that related with super heroes (also games and dvd's).

2- What was it that brought you to collecting? And what is that keeps you going?
An opportunity to “bring” my childhood back. Also, the hope that my child keeps collecting for me.

3- When did you start collecting?
I have been collecting since 2002, my first item was the Thing from Marvel Legends series 2.

4- Why do you Collect what you Collect?
I am 80´s child, so I grow up watching cartoons and read comic books from Super Friends, Thundercats, Transformers, Masters of the Universe, Back to The Future, Star Wars…I  buy toys that remember my childhood.

5- When did you start displaying your Collection?
Since I started collecting, I don´t have a huge place to keep all toys in their packages.

6- How do you get your inspiration to organize and display your collection?
I organize by the series.

7- Do you have a favorite character(s) you collect?
Superman, Batman, Simpsons, Thundercats, He-man, Transformers, Spider-man, Fantastic Four, and G.I. Joe.

8- Which item in your collection would you say is your absolute favorite and why?
The Delorean Time Machine from the Back to The Future I, because is the first movie that I watched on cinema and I love the trilogy.

9- Which item was the most difficult to obtain? And which one is your prized possession?
The Transformers from G1. I don´t have a prized possession, I love them all.

11- What inspires you to purchase an item to add to your collection?
The 80´s pop culture, cartoons, movies and comic books.

12- Customizing figures and statues has become very big, have you ever        purchased a custom figure or statue and have you ever tried making one?
No.

13- What do you think of the custom Craze?
It is very cool!

14- Where do you make most of your purchases from? ebay seems to be a    favorite with collectors these days, are you an ebayholic?
I am not ebayholic, I have 2 friends on USA that searching and buy things for me. Sometimes I make purchases with Brian Toys and Guru Planet.

15- Is your collection insured?
Yes, it is very necessary.

16- What is missing from your collection that you hope to one day acquire?
All of the Movie Maniacs, I had to sell these items a time ago.
           
17- What is the usual reaction when people see your collection?
“God, you are crazy!”
“Why don´t you sell these things?”

18- Do you attend conventions for some of your purchases? could you tell     us about that?
No, I don´t attend conventions. In Brazil we have very few conventions, most of them are in São Paulo (I live in the other state). We have the Transcon (transformers convention), JediCon (Star Wars), anime conventions and our ToyFair (called Abrinq).

19- Most collectors today go on what they call a toy run, do you participate in that as well? And what are your favorite spots? Do you have a routine?
Every Saturday I go with my husband to our favorite comic book store called Gibimania, there we find something toys and buy comic books, after we go to the shopping centers to visit the stores and buy new toys.

20- How do you decide what to take out of the package and what stays         sealed?
I take all toys from the package, but Barbies dolls, diecast cars with 1.43th or 1.64 and limited editions, I don´t remove.

21- At what stage do you think your collection will be at 10 years from   now, do you think you would have grown tired of it?
Maybe I will have to buy a house from my toys! I will never stop to collect.

22- What advice would you give someone who just started a collection?
Have patience to find the toys and work hard to make money, because it is an expensive hobby.
