1- What is it that you collect?
Dodge Vipers

2- What was it that brought you to collecting? And what is that keeps you going?
I was involved in a ca accident and had some spare time on my hands so I did a Viper model. I fell in love with the design and look of the Viper and have collected them since.

3- When did you start collecting?

4- Why Vipers?
I think that the Viper is one of the sharpest looking cars out there.

5- When did you start displaying them?
I started displaying them as soon as my collection started to rapidly grow.

6- How do you get your inspiration to organize and display your collection?
I just like looking at them.

7- Do you have a favorite Version you collect?
Actually the GTR is my favorite Viper.

8- Which item in your collection would you say is your absolute favorite and why?
The very first one that I built and customized. Its one of a kind.

9- Which item was the most difficult to obtain? And which one is your prized possession?
The Franklin Mint Viper is very difficult to get. Not because its rare just because of the price. Its hard to think of one that is my favorite or my prized possession. They are all prized by me.

10- What is the oldest item you own? and the one with the most value?
The oldest would probably be 1992 Hot Wheels Vipers. So pretty much the very first ones made. I would say the one worth the most would be the Hot Wheels 1996 Treasure Hunt Viper. Its worth 40.00 to 50.00 dollars.

11- What inspires you to purchase an item to add to your collection?
To have them all.

12- Customizing figures and statues has become very big, have you ever purchased a custom figure or statue and have you ever tried making one?
I have 1 customized Viper that I made myself.

13- What do you think of the custom Craze?
Its ok as long as you still keep the overall image there.

14- Where do you make most of your purchases from? ebay seems to be a favorite with collectors these days, are you an ebayholic?
Yes I am a buyer and seller on E-Bay. I even have a web-site for die-casts.

15- Is your collection insured?
Not yet

16- What is missing from your collection that you hope to one day acquire?
The real thing. I hope to 1 day get the real deal.

17- What is the usual reaction when people see your collection?
They usually say, “They're all Vipers?” or they just say “wow”.

18- Do you attend conventions for some of your purchases? could you tell us about that?
Not yet.

19- Most collectors today go on what they call a toy run, do you participate in that as well? And what are your favorite spots? Do you have a routine?
E-bay and Wal-Mart, Target etc. Toy shows if we get one around here.

20- How do you decide what to take out of the package and what stays sealed?
Everything I buy sealed stays sealed. Everything I buy loose stays loose.

21- At what stage do you think your collection will be at 10 years from now, do you think you would have grown tired of it?
Of course it will grow. It will have 10 years worth more of them.

22- What advice would you give someone who just started a collection?
I personally think a great collection will just happen. You'll start then it just goes from there.
