1- What is it that you collect?
Mainly, I collect the vintage Masters of the Universe toys from the 80's. Besides that, I collect the new Masters 200X, vintage Bravestarr-Toys, old computers like the Commodore C64, playconsoles like the old Atari 2600, movie- props and figures.

2- What was it that brought you to collecting? And what is that keeps you going?
As a kid i loved the cartoons on TV. My favorite cartoons were He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, She-Ra, Bravestarr, Fimation Ghostbusters, Saberrider, etc. I had all the Masters toys as a kid. But at the Age of 12 the girls went more interesting than the toys :-) 2 years ago i went to my parents cellar to get a bottle of wine, and i saw all the beautiful toys of my childhood. It was magic!!!! What keeps me going? I am addicted to colorfull plastic!!!

3- When did you start collecting?
About two years ago.

4- Why Masters of the Universe?
As i said. They are the toys of my childhood. I loved He-Man and his Friends!

5- When did you start displaying them?
At the same Time I started collecting again, two years ago.

6- How do you get your inspiration to organize and display your collection?
I split them into, vintage Masters on one side of my collecting-room, Masters 200X, Bravestarr and the other toys on the other side of the room.

7- Do you have a favorite character(s) you collect?
Not really, I love all the Masters of the Universe action-figures!

8- Which item in your collection would you say is your absolute favorite and why?
My He-Man that i played with in my childhood. He is from 1981, one year younger than myself :-)

9- Which item was the most difficult to obtain? And which one is your prized possession?
My Eternia Playset (The ultimate Battleground). It is one of the biggest playsets ever built. Its complete with all weapons and stickers. Eternia (the blue castle with the lion-head) is very hard to find complete and in good condition.

10- What is the oldest item you own? and the one with the most value?
The oldest Items are the first 8 figures from the first wave that Mattel brought to the market and also the first vehicles and playsets. These are: He-Man, Skeletor, Man-at-Arms, Teela, Stratos, Zodac, Mer-Man, Beast-Man, Battle-Cat, Battle-Ram, Wind-Raider & Castle Grayskull. The one with the most value is the Eternia-Playset.

11- What inspires you to purchase an item to add to your collection?
I want to have all the vintage Masters-Toys one loose and one mint on card or in box.

12- Customizing figures and statues has become very big, have you ever purchased a custom figure or statue and have you ever tried making one?
No, i havent!

13- What do you think of the custom Craze?
I am not really a fan of custom-made figures.

14- Where do you make most of your purchases from? ebay seems to be a favorite with collectors these days, are you an ebayholic?
The first adress is ebay! Also I trade a lot with other collectors.

15- Is your collection insured?
Not yet :-)

16- What is missing from your collection that you hope to one day acquire?
The last three figures that i need for a complete loose collection are Laser-Power He-Man, Tytus and Megator. These are the figures from the last wave. They are very hard to find and the to giants (Tytus & Megator) were only sold in Italy.

17- What is the usual reaction when people see your collection?
"Whooooow, i had this figure, and this figure". "Ohhh there is Beast-Man over there - I had him too". :-)

18- Do you attend conventions for some of your purchases? could you tell us about that?
I dont like conventions. But sometimes I will meet some other collectors or talk with them on the phone. I dont like people that are dressed like He-Man, they scare me! :-)

19- Most collectors today go on what they call a toy run, do you participate in that as well? And what are your favorite spots? Do you have a routine?
Mainly i collect vintage toys, I can't get them at Toys r Us!

20- How do you decide what to take out of the package and what stays sealed?
If i get a sealed Toy, it stays sealed. (if the package is perfect) If i want a loose toy, I buy it loose!

21- At what stage do you think your collection will be at 10 years from now, do you think you would have grown tired of it?
I will never get tired of these wonderfull toys!!! And i think that one day they will be my financial downfall :-)

22- What advice would you give someone who just started a collection?
Dont hurry, it will all come together!!!
