GE Flexible LED Light System

General Electric has made a cool Flexible LED light system that is made for display cabinets. It can also be used for lighting of Bookcases, Curio Cabinets, Entertainment Centers and anything else you can think of really.

Those of you who are familiar with LED’s (light emitting diodes) know that this is a long life light source that is much better than regular light bulbs. This lighting system is able to bend around corners and follow the contours in and around the cabinet for exceptional lighting. Another plus is that there is no UV output, so it limits fading of collectibles than regular bulb lighting. This is very important if you have something really valuable and rare and are concerned about light slowly damaging it.

The system retails for about $25 dollars, but I have seen them on sale at Target, K-Mart and Wal-Mart for around $10 to $18 dollars. The system comes with a convenient on/off rotary switch and a 6ft cord that can be plug into the wall. It’s easy to install if your mechanically inclined and it comes with mounting hardware (screws). The lights are really bright and powerful. Eternal Collector highly recommend this system to everyone. We give it the "Get it" stamp of approval.
