I'm done trimming the shrubs Mrs. Braun can Herr Hitler come out und play now?

While out shopping for the wife I came across the new Hellboy 1.5 figures. 2 New Hellboys, A new Abe and a Nazi uniformed Kroenen, which I kicked a small child out of the way to get so I could do this review. (He started it!)

Packaging:
I really don't know why people grade packaging, I'm an opener so its just trash to me (Recycle you say? Begone Hippie!) Its your standard plastic McFarlane-esq package, good for display if you won't release your toy from its plastic prison (Communist)

The Figure:
When I saw Hellboy the first time, I wasn't overly impressed. But the more I watch it, the more I like it. And Kroenen is a neat bad guy (Well as neat as Nazi's go) He comes dressed in a Pleather overcoat and a Nazi officers uniform and I must say I'm impressed with Mezco not whimping out when it comes to the uniform, there are 3 swastikas on it! Talk about authentic! In an age where most companies would wuss out on this detail Mezco went for authenticity instead of bowing to PC BS. Kroenen also has a removeable hat and mask to show off his butt ugly mug!

A face only a mother could love......on payday.

Accesories:
2 sets of hands one hold his pistol and the other set are the blades that are attached to his wrists in the beginning of the film. Hat and Removable mask.

 

 

Articulation:
Pretty damn good! Ball jointed neck, shoulders and legs and knee, elbow and wrist articulation, not a whole lot of poses you can't put Herr Kroenen into!

The Down Sides:
My only problem with Kroenen is the hat, it is a pain in the a$$ to get on and keep on, I wish they would have done a magnet al'la the Muppets but aside from this figure is awesome.

Overall:
8 out of 10, rush out and buys you some Nazi Scum!
