1- What is it that you collect?
Anything pertaining to Horror Movies such as figures and props.

2- What was it that brought you to collecting? And what is that keeps you
going?

I just wanted to do something new so I started collecting figures from my favorite horror movies and what keeps me going is the expression on my kids faces when they see something new.

3- When did you start collecting?
About 2 years ago.

4- Why (what you collect) example:Batman, Star Wars, Transformers, etc.?
I collect Hellraiser, Tortured Souls, Child's Play and anything scary!!!!!!!!!!!

5- When did you start displaying them?
About 2 years ago.

6- How do you get your inspiration to organize and display your collection?
I love the way they look when they are displayed properly and organized.

7- Do you have a favorite character(s) you collect?
No, not really. They are all my favorite.

8- Which item in your collection would you say is your absolute favorite
and why?

My 12 inch Child's Play 2 Chucky. Because he looks so realistic.

9- Which item was the most difficult to obtain? And which one is your
prized possession?

The most difficult to obtain was my 12 inch Jeepers Creepers figure. They are all my prized possessions.

10- What is the oldest item you own? and the one with the most value?
1975 Welcome Back Kotter set. I don't know which one has the most value.

11- What inspires you to purchase an item to add to your collection?
If it is scary and highly detailed.

12- Customizing figures and statues has become very big, have you ever
purchased a custom figure or statue and have you ever tried making one?

No.

13- What do you think of the custom Craze?
It is ok.

14- Where do you make most of your purchases from? ebay seems to be a
favorite with collectors these days, are you an ebayholic?

I purchase from EBAY, Toy Stores, and from mom and pop stores.

15- Is your collection insured?
I am in the process of doing that.

16- What is missing from your collection that you hope to one day acquire?
I'm not missing anything, just waiting on new releases.

17- What is the usual reaction when people see your collection?
They are shocked and then ask where do I purchase these things from.

18- Do you attend conventions for some of your purchases? could you tell us
about that?

Yes, the Big Apple Con. In June, I purchased a 12 inch Tortured Souls Figure for a great price and some Movie Maniacs.

19- Most collectors today go on what they call a toy run, do you
participate in that as well? And what are your favorite spots? Do you have
a routine?

Yes, once in a while I go through most of Manhattan. I love to go to Forbidden Planet, It's Another Hit, Jim Hanley's Universe and Village Comics. Sometimes Toy's R US and KB Toys.

20- How do you decide what to take out of the package and what stays
sealed?

I display everything, but I also keep the boxes.

21- At what stage do you think your collection will be at 10 years from
now, do you think you would have grown tired of it?

I think it will be much bigger and I will need more room and no, I don't think I would grow tired of my Collection.

22- What advice would you give someone who just started a collection?
Don't get the first thing you see, shop around, there are always bargains.
