It seems that the number one display case for collectors has for a long time been the almighty Ikea Detolf.  There's a good reason that it is, its a great display case!  As a collector, I have for many years looked for the ultimate display case and have bought and sold many, but I still own 6 of these in my collection.  I have always tossed the idea around about how even better these would be if they were a little wider.  Well someone did just that and it looks amazing.  Long time collector, Cody Bredendick, now brings Eternal Collector his story.  Check it out!

So I had a very busy past year. I moved into a new home and finally had enough space to create the Collection room I have always dreamt about. It was a long process but needless to say I am VERY happy with the results.

Ever walk into a toys r us and see those cool looking displays they showcase a new line of toys in? Ever try to get one only to have the store manager tell you, " we have to ship these back to the company."

Going to the 2011 NY Comic Con was an exercise in professional nerdity – being together with 105,000 of your fellow geeks, surrounded by the hottest new toys, shows, video games, and comic artists, not to mention a fandom that has become comfortable with letting their freak flag fly, was one of the most intense experiences of my life.

But the thing that made the most impact on me was, ironically enough, an old plastic toy.

Finally after a long wait Eternal Collector is back with an ALL NEW website!  It has been a long time coming and I thank you all for all the emails throught these past few months.  I have recently moved to a new house and had a few other changes in my life which made it kind of tough to maintain Eternal Collector.  But now that I am settled, its on! Stay tuned as I am still adding new features and an all new message board, which should be done by the end of this weekend.  Again, I thank you all for your continued support and look forward to bringing you the best Collection rooms on the planet!
