1- What is it that you collect?
I collect Popy Chogokin, Bandai America Godaikin, Medicom 12" Super Hero figure, Marmit Rainbow 12" figures. In fact, I mainly focus my Chogokin collection of Super Robot.

2- What was it that brought you to collecting? And what is that keeps you going?
The eBay, the Broadband Internet. My Chogokin toy collector friend in LA, USA.

3- When did you start collecting?
I started collecting my Chogokin since 1997 (begin to search for the Popy Gold Lightan chogokin, 11 of them, allover the Internet). However, I didn't actively put my foot into collecting Godaikin until January 2004. I consider myself as a late comer regarding toys collection. I begin to collect Chogokin, Soul of Chogokin, Medicom 12" figure since January 2004.

4- Why (what you collect) example: Batman, Star Wars, Transformers, etc?
I love to collect the Super Robot Godaikin back was because I have enjoyed watching those Japanese Anime Shows in the 70's when I was a kid in Hong Kong. All these toys brought my good old childhood memory back.

5- When did you start displaying them?
After I saw my buddy 's Chogokin (SOC) collection in LA 2 years old, then it push me to begin my mission to collect some of the Godakin / Chogokin toys.

6- How do you get your inspiration to organize and display your collection?
I just organize them by size and by series. Usually I will put the Super Robot with relation together on the same level of my display case.

7- Do you have a favorite character(s) you collect?
Not particular characters, if you look at my collection, I have a diversity of Super Robot from various shows.

8- Which item in your collection would you say is your absolute favorite and why?
My absolute favorite will be my Rare to find 11 Popy Gold Lightan (1st & 2nd generation)

9- Which item was the most difficult to obtain? And which one is your prized possession?
The most difficult ones for me to obtain was the those 11 Gold Lightan Chogokin and I have spend more than 7 years to complete my collection.

10- What is the oldest item you own? and the one with the most value?
The oldest one must be my Popy mach Baron GA-07, made almost 20 years ago by Popy Japan.

11- What inspires you to purchase an item to add to your collection?
Japanese Toys news at various we site.

12- Customizing figures and statues has become very big, have you ever purchased a custom figure or statue and have you ever tried making one?
To be frank, customized figures is not my cup of tea, so I haven't have a chance to purchase any custom figure yet.

13- Where do you make most of your purchases from? eBay seems to be a favorite with collectors these days, are you an ebayholic?
I use Ebay very often but I also order my toys from Yahoo Japan Auctions or Yahoo Hong Kong Auctions too.

14- Is your collection insured?
No.

15- What is missing from your collection that you hope to one day acquire?
I wish I could have the complete Popy GA series but they are very expensive and hard to get all of them, in order to complete the whole GA Series collection.

16- What is the usual reaction when people see your collection?
Usually they think I am childish and waste my money. But of course, some chaps who have watched those Japanese Super Robot cartoon way back will show appreciation and become very envy of my Mickey Mouse Chogokin toy collection.

17- Do you attend conventions for some of your purchases? could you tell us about that?
So far, never attend any toy conventions.

18- Most collectors today go on what they call a toy run, do you participate in that as well? And what are your favorite spots? Do you have a routine?
No, not really.

19- How do you decide what to take out of the package and what stays sealed?
Everything I have on hand will be taken out from the boxed and get display in my dust free IKEA glass display case.
